96 personnel get Service Awards

NINETY-SIX personnel who have been in government service for 15-40 years received their Service Award from the Civil Service Commission in a special ceremony held Sept. 30 at the Laoag City Hall Auditorium culminating the 111th anniversary celebration of the country’s civil service. “Championing R.A.C.E.: Public Service Excellence at Full Speed” is this year’s theme.

Leading the awardees was Teresita V. Dilig, chief of the Records Management Office. Following is the list of the other awardees:

Every September, the entire public workforce commemorates the establishment of the civil service system in 1900. It is also an occasion to recognize and highlight the significant role of government workers in nation building.
